I used 3" 3M Blue Painters tape about 1" around the letters. Then I used masking/newspaper to avoid overspray. *MAKE SURE YOUR TRUCK IS CLEAN AND DRY* before you start spraying. I thought my truck was dry and found out I had water behind my emblems. Had to start over after about 4 hours worth of work. I have about 5-6 coats on the emblems. Once Plastidip is DRY remove everything and use a toothpick to pick out the inside of the letters.

I love that color. If it was around when I got my truck I would have gone with it over Silver Streak Mica.

Though I've got to say SSM is freaking great at hiding trail pin stripes and filth in general. Truck almost always looks relatively clean no matter how filthy it really is.

What size wheels and tires are you running? Do you have a lift under it? Any spacers involved? Those are the exact wheels I am looking at getting. Truck looks great!!

Really? I have been thinking that I want to plastidip the toyota emblem but wasn't sure how to go about it. Does anyone know if this holds true for a 2014?

It's the same for a 2014. Couldn't believe how easily it removes until I did it the first time. Just go mess with it and you'll figure it out.
