Definitely true... Tall and skinny = cut thru the snow to contact the road, fat and wide = floatation! I run 35x12.50s that I air way down to crawl around on top of the roads that don't get plowed! Pretty fun! But I've heard that Buckshot has some 35x9.50s that would def help with traction on the roads! Crazyness!!!

 

That would be a sweet tire. Like I said the other day though, I would love to get my hands on some 255/100R16 Michelin XZL's. That's a 36x10.00 tire.

 

I got some 24x6x15s Fuck yea!

 

I wouldn't mind a tire that tall either! For now I'll get a set of km2's! Lol

 

I run some 155/85R13's on my DD. haha. It's a 23.4x6. You know that is a skinny tire when my little 40+mpg motor can spin them from 1st to 2nd. If I floor it while turning it will squeel the inside tire as well. haha I was surprised. It wouldn't do that with the 175's it used to have in it.

That's what I (most of us actually) am rocking.

Define good, scenic or challenging? I don't know of any challenging ones. Scenery is ok on some but nothing real spectacular that I know of.

I am going to a meet this weekend near American Falls that is a big open area of rock formations that you can crawl on.

 

Mk I wish I could crawl more in my truck... but not till its paid off

I'm not sure how fun this weekend will be for me in the taco. Although it will be sweet to see all the other crawlers do their thing

I have 886's on my 5100's. haha I have mostly definitely heard people say both ways about doing it (on 2nd gens anyway) but so far no problems.
