Since I have a trd locker and didnt change my rear diff fluid in a few years so everything internally was trashed. They are saving my old parts for me to see.

    $1850.

But i will have it back by this friday.

You should change the fluid everytime you weld on the axle also.

Not many options available for me on this one.

Currie could have built you one and had it in your truck yesterday...with a warranty. It takes them a couple hours to build.
Consider yourself lucky you live in the most popular places in the world for desert off-road enthusiasts. I would take advantage of it if I were you.

I have never heard of them, i was in a pinch and looked up local places for repair.

It was a harsh realization that fluids need changing and nothing last forever.

So do we have the same issue with the rear diffs?

I saw your grenaded internally as well and you limped back in front wheel drive.

I bent my axle housing, and since I haven't been able to remove the axles, likely the axles are bent as well. It's a banana inside a banana.

I lost the rear end on the way to the store. Just a bang and spinning free. No expensive grinding sounds you normally hear with blowing the R&P. I'm betting I blew the side gears. I just picked up the Tundra axle so I'll definitely pull the old rear end apart to find out what gave up.
