They came with these plates... Don't know shit about welding. Was just curious why is there 3 L shaped plates for each side and 1 flat one for each side?

 

The flat plates are for the front legs one for each side.

 

so that they won't hit the front tranny cross member.

Otherwise you have to trim them back like this



Jerry just sends the flat now so you don't have to do that.

You might still have to trim the brackets. I had to with my 2nd gen because at one point on the chassis the under side had a weld blocking it from fitting flush so I had to have that part of the bracket trimmed off. Then there were some round bolts that I also and to trim around

 

Yes that we have found random years have this I thought it was just the 07 and unders that had that but I guess we have a 08 too.
