    I get tired after about a decade. 5 years of payments and 5 years of no payments is what I have been doing. Hopefully the Toyota lives long enough to do the same.

    Had a Mustang for 2/3 years that I bought outright used

    New SUV for 10

    Now new truck for 4

    No more new stuff for me. Screw payments.

    I have had the Tacoma for 9 years now. It sat, stock for 6 or 7 then I started messing with it. It is a great truck, awesome off road and cool to drive around town. I had a blast building it.

    My sister has the Grand Cherokee with the 3.7 (IIRC). FYI - the number 2 rocker arm (can't remember if it was intake or exhaust) fell off. Yes, fell off. There is nothing that holds them fast like a nut or shaft. They just rely on the pressure of the camshaft and valve spring to secure them. Easy fix once you figure out what the problem is.

    I spoke to my mechanic. He has not run across any notable deficiencies with any year of the Liberty. Shame the Diesel sucked so bad, I would rock an oil burner.
