Alot of people complain about sidewall issues, and I have seen some firsthand, but it is rumored to be a problem with the first runs only that were made a few years ago.

Don't think you can get away with just throwing up badass wheeling pics and not update the actual build hah. Truck is awesome and provides inspiration for my rig.

Quick question when you built your tube doors what did you do with your harness? Just tuck it away?

My photobucket got scrambled somehow and is no longer in order which makes it insanely hard for me to get things in order but i will update soon. Thanks for the kind words.

For my tube doors i unplugged the wiring behind the kick panel by the footwells so there was no harness left...it went with the door.

One of these days i need to make a few more sets as i have some people requesting some doors. I will throw up a few more tube door pics in the am when i am on a pc.

No worries just bustin' your balls :D.

That's good to know. I'm sure it's the same for my Runner but I'll double check. More pictures would be cool, do you plan on doing some sort of production for them or just throwing up the numbers for a DIY for people?

Next up was the rear suspension. Up til now I had been running the AP 3" leaves with an ATO shackle flip. My leaves were shot so I decided to go with the Chevy 63" leaf springs as many other had before me (previous gen's).

    Welded up my brackets first:

    2011-12-13215519_0ccc3191a35346fd877e3714fce1a9d173b2712a.jpg

Finished removing the springs and cleaned up the frame a bit. Getting the stock front spring hanger off the frame brought the suck. Got most of it off, but theres still some afterbirth hanging around on the frame :(

    2011-12-13215504_0310df21ecccf3b477a44afc7bdf72caef32694a.jpg

I made some spring perch plates to weld on to the stock perches so I can adjust the axle position if I want. The u-bolt plates are from RuffStuff and are 3/8" thick, as are my perch plates.

Frame outrigger mocked up. Moved front hangar 4 3/4" forward, 6" shackle length, angle should be just about perfect with truck weight on the springs...

Don't ask me why the hell Toyota decided to dovetail the frames on these newer trucks....argh

    Front hangar installed:

Then I decided to flat-bellt my AP t-case skid.

    Before:
    2012-01-07093058_855fb8a360eeb49d6115c15580ef1eb75e4fd8e0.jpg
Believe it or not that 1.5" bump hanging down hangs me up all the time!

    No more bumpout:
    2012-01-07175741_60e2d8992e4692ca678752400be351a8020bf64a.jpg

Had the exhaust rerouted and bam!

    2012-01-19201515_98468595743eba6d2dc7419a102ed20530e479d2.jpg

Then I started working on other peoples crap:

...welded up a set of beadlocks for a buddies truck over the weekend...turned out nice!

    imagejpeg_2_2a22630249468597e6716d5aec3354e28fca3ddc.jpg

Then fabbed/installed a new steering stop on this:

    2012-01-16203831_d1525bae156e46935875a745a0c1aeb1a652da54.jpg

1976 Honda z50 minibike. My brother is rebuilding this for my nephew. We had a '72 growing up which was a hardtail...at least this thing has some shocks!

Project black mirror mod...ok so I bought some new mirrors. After having broken and repaired both stock mirrors, and running an autozone special for a few months i found new mirrors online for 45 bucks a piece. They came black and are paint to match. I think black looks fine :D

Heres the best I could do for now:

All stock components reused plus a 90° and a length of hose. Basically I just rotated the filler neck 180° and it worked out. Fils a little slow but it works.
