Let's see those 2nd gen Regular cabs.

what's the deal with the center consoles in the reg cabs? some have it and some don't? only certain years?

 

Yeah evidently around 2010 I think they only put the center console in the automatics, manual transmission RCs got benches.

In makin the best of it, lol

 

All regular cab taco's have bench seats except 2005-2008 SR5 Prerunners/4x4s, and 2011-Current 4x4's with auto trans.

And now I am going to the dealer on Sat to see if I can find and photograph a RC with an auto and look at the bucket seats,

That would be one sweet conversion,

One wonders if the SRS control unit and sensors are all plug and play or not,

Man why doesn't Toyota offer the buckets to the manual folks.

2008, last yr for prerunner, 5 speed with buckets/console. Jumped on it and ditched the 05 access cab the minute I found it..........

Ps the bucket seat conversion is not plug and play very tricky to get airbags to work right, but seats and console will first perfectly

 

When you say tricky, as in a new SRS control unit is in order or other electrical devices,

or is it a pain to change the wiring as I am sure they plugs are in diffrerent locals and such.

I want buckets but not that bad,

 

what lift did you use?

.......on a different note, took care of the no overhead console reg cab feature by installing a Gentex 341 auto-dimming/homelink/maplight/compass/temp rear view mirror with amber display. Not my pic but exact same mirror.............

 

My 2012 with 3 inch lift. 33x11.50 MT tires.

Tried to do the whole photo bucket thing to get big pictures but i still cant get it. says to large. i edited the picture wide and tall but still didn't work. Any feedback would be nice. Thanks

I shall play!!!! I have a 5-lug lifted Regular cab running on 31's. Would bilstiens lift it a bit more?? I don't have them on.
