    Snowboarding cheap?? lift tickets are a bitch tho! haha

    and i feel you man..i want to do so much more..backpacking, climbing, audio stuff, composing, building shit...so much..so little time..it sucks haha

    Tho to be honest..i just need a good job to keep me comfortable sheltered with a nice garage to work in..then ill pretty much just blow money on my rig and big trips..that and audio gear haha that about all i spend money on these days..its just all so pricey :mad:

It looks SO awkward and impossible to stand or retain any balance. There is a reason skis are not squares...and those are the best example.

    Holy shit! haha. I just heard this on the radio. A homeless guy broke into a car that was parked at a bar. He found a credit card in the car and took it into the bar to buy a beer. When the bar tender took the card he noticed that it was HIS card! :rofl: So the homeless guy was arrested.

    No wonder that guy is homeless. He has some really shitty luck. haha

    I think it is a pretty fresh tear so I am hoping the bearing are still good. I played with the wheel by hand and never heard any clicking. Think it will be like my diff bearing though, and have to have force on it to make the clicking? I'm trying to decide if it would be worth booting it or if I should just let it go and replace the whole axle once the joint is completely shot.

    The other side could use a new boot as well, it looks like it is about to tear in a spot as well.

    just do a full axle. It'll might not be cheaper..but unless you do it yourself..doing the bearing will be a bitch.

    I don't want to do the axles. haha. They are like $60 a piece and the car probably isn't worth that. Hell for all I know just leaving that cv like that, it may outlast the car. haha

    I don't plan on replacing the bearings, just the boots and taking the cv apart didn't look much harder than replacing a cv axle itself.

    rip that sucker out this saterday moring then bring it out to the shop ill be putting axles in a audi TT. i could have a boot on that sucker for you in 5 min. I have all the gear out here to take the joints off the shafts.

    yes i have a shop with a lift in it. but rather than using that shop i have the keys to Tyhee auto where i work and i have like 50K worth of tools there so thats where ill be saturday.

    Where is this trail at? That's my kinda wheeling.

    Oh yeah? Why was I under the impression that you worked at the dealership? haha. Must have been cuz I met you there I guess. A vice would be handy. Maybe I'll take you up on that. Any idea how much oil my diff holds and what type, 85W-140 maybe? I couldn't find anything on my car. 1999 Hyundai Accent with a 1.5L in it.
