Amp for CompVT 10's

Im going to put two 10" kicker compvt's in my truck, and am curious to know what you reccomend for an amp to power these. I'm looking at wiring theses in a series and going 4 ohm

 

What else have you done besides bought 2 10's?

 

I've got a Sony head unit in right now, and I'm going to upgrade the door speakers too

MSRP for $300, a good quality amp with 350w out.

 

Look into the Alpine PDX-V9. Its a 5 channel and puts out some power.

 

look for a 1000rms that does good rating and tune it so you have a clean and undistorted bass

 

forgive me for not doing my research, I didn't realize the CompVT's had that high of a power rating.... That said,

would be a better suggestion, although I don't know that I could recommend the PDX-V9 as Dylan suggested. While it is a great amp, it only has 500w output, and wouldn't be any better of a suggestion that my original 500w MRX-M55.

Pair the M110 sub amp up with the MRX-F65 and you've got a better solution for pretty much the same amount of cash

 

Those are great selections. My only concern is the amount of power 1000 watts is compared to the 110 watts x 4. My V9 runs one 10" around 584 watts and it can drown out my mids and highs running around 114 watts.
