    Whats your aliment #'s?

    Whats your wheel offset?

Whoa! Whaaat?! I ordered 700# springs. Was rubbing driver's side like mad. Trimmed bumper, trimmed black stuff, seen dirt rub marks on cab mount, etc. thy now have raise it to what you see in the photos. I still have rake. Do you? Your pre-load looks like nothing!! Am on my cellphone and can't get to alignment #'s picture right now (it's in my TW Album here), but my alignment is terrible.

Almost same setup as well, only rub I have with 285's is at the top of the inside of the wheel well and I have to pound it pretty hard to do that

I bet your wheel offset and alignment is the issue. The key to the 255's is that they tuck 'in' the fenders. If my wheels stuck out further I would have ripped both front and rear fenders off by now.

You are correct. My preload is minimum so I have max down travel on my 700# springs. I could care less about lift. I want speed on the trails and max droop in the rocks.

    Your alignment #'s should be:
    0 Toe
    0 camber
    3* Caster

My wheels have 5-1/4"backspacing. The only place I rub slightly is the frame and the driver side fender at full lock & stuff.

We can continue this on the 255 owners thread.

Cosmetic stuff.... best part HomerTaco Raptor Grille. Need to get a lift, armor and lockers.
I had an idea today to in my truck and if it's like the last 10 or 20 of them someone has already had it and came up with it but just for the heck of it here it goes..

I saw a thread on here (http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/236086-backup-camera-off-toggle-mod.html) that talks about the toggle on/off for the rear camera. Do you think its possible to put a camera up front and have a on/off/on switch that would allow you to view both cameras when ever from that little screen in the rear view mirror?

I know it'd be a tiny display but it could still be beneficial because the front end of our trucks are so big you can't always see whats directly in front of you.

    just a thought :notsure:
