Everyone should be jumping all over this for the price.. Look else where, most people are charging over 100-150$ for this same service. Get your led gauges hooked up!

Interested in getting my 1st gen done if you can. What's a price on the gauges, A/C controls, and the shifter? I would like blue with blue needles. Thanks :)

White backing with green needles. Any tips? Some said to remove the amber off the needles with nail polish remover and then paint them green with nail polish to give it a more green effect. Do you paint both sides, the front only or the back only? And I'm swapping out the turn signal leds, I don't like that faded looking green color.

Yeah just use nail polish remover and a q-tip. You have to use some pressure to get the orangey-reddish paint off and then clean any fingerprints off and paint the backside only. Yeah the stock green LEDs are a more faded looking green.

I should have some pics for you tomorrow. Going out to the desert tonight and doing a lot of photos of my truck, lots of long exposure shots so I'll get a few of the dash when I'm out

They are much darker than this but this is about the color I got out of UV. Decided I'm going to try Pink next.

It does look sweet, and I'm still on the hunt for some brighter purples.

What about larger ones? I can make leads to fit.

There are larger SMD leds but not sure if they will be brighter due to what the voltage is running through the board.

    I am interested in this.

Just wondering does removing the needles affect the accuracy of the readings? The last truck I had (ford) people in the forums were doing this as well, but then having a tough time recalibrating the gauges after removing them without some ford factory tool.

Sorry for all the newb questions.

ok cool, didnt know if the OP had a factory tool, or if this was just not a problem for tacos.

So if i have researched this correctly, all the LEDs are switchable other than the clock, and temp/compass?
