Yeah it's dry, but like I said, the semi-gloss is still too shiny. It looks pretty good, but It's like somewhere between chrome and silver, almost like a brushed aluminum. I still want it to be paint matched, so I'm buying a can of Matte or Satin clear coat to spray it with tomorrow after work. Hopefully that'll give me the result I want.

    Too few to list.
in my experience, paint including clear coat will not hold too long to chrome without any scuffing of the chrome.

I think that's true about REAL chrome, but remember the grill is just plastic. We'll see, I guess.

In for pictures. Silver is already a pain in the butt to color match so I'm very interested to see how this turns out. Good luck Matt

Well the color may look similar, but now you'll have a gloss truck with a matte grill :notsure:

    plenty
OP- Duplicolor makes a rattle can of our SSM 1E7 paint code. I never tried it on over chrome... it might just be worth it to let the clear cure well and have a shop shoot the surround, thats what I did with my satoshi.

I was thinking about that, then I thought after the color is right, I can hit it with a coat or 2 of gloss clear coat.
