    Here is something to discuss.

I was in the ER waiting room Wednesday. There was this butch looking woman on the fairly large side wearing clothes that would barley fit my 3 yr old. On her left calf, there was a tattoo of a rather attractive woman butt naked, spread eagle laying down. This is weird anyway for a woman to have a naked chic spread eagle tattoo on her leg. But the weirdest part is between the woman's legs, the rest of the tattoo was cookie monster from sesame street with his head buried in just having a good ol time.

This chic was probably mid 40's. She had what looked like a 1 yr old with no shirt, no shoes, no socks, in a diaper with a bottle running around in the freaking ER waiting room.

    What is wrong with people?

There's nothing wrong with her. Sounds like the average American, who could be an irresponsible parent, or just watching someone else's kid while they get patched up in the ER, and she likes feasting on the cookie jar as much as the next...guy. And since when have Sesame Street and alternative sexual lifestyles not gone together? They're like cookies and milk. NOM NOM NOM :cookiemonster:

Why do you think my oil change interval is greater than six months?

Just more data on how cool death valley is now compared to years ago...

    http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lano...-on-earth.html

It’s taken 99 years, but Death Valley finally got the record.

The World Meteorological Organization announced it now considers Death Valley National Park the hottest place on Earth.

The highest recorded surface temperature of 134 degrees (56.7 degrees Celsius) ) was measured on July 10, 1913, at Greenland Ranch, now fittingly called Furnace Creek.

That was apparently surpassed on Sept. 13, 1922, with a recording of 136.4 degrees (58 C) in what is now Libya.

But that reading has long been disputed. An international panel investigated and found a number of mistakes made at the time by an inexperienced observer. Consequently, the temperature reading was adjusted upward.

The record reading at Death Valley came during a week of extreme heat in which the high reached at least 127 degrees each day.

The ranch caretaker, Oscar Denton, was also the region’s weather observer and reportedly said of the 134-degree day: "It was so hot that swallows in full flight fell to the Earth dead. When I went out to read the thermometer with a wet Turkish towel on my head, it was dry before I returned."
