The center rack is where the spare tire will go. I will be making them with or without swing out. If you wanted o remove the swing out I suppose you could, just a castle nut on the hinge

Rigid SR 20" LED Light bar, Pelfreybuilt Front Plate Bumper Ordered. Looking at Rear Plate Bumpers now.
What about a swing out tailgate replacement(the structure laid forward and down) that I can stow the spare on at a forward leaned angle.
    I'll look for the picture.

Something like this, but attached to the new bumper and with the ability to swing out. I can use it when I go offroad and then remove it and reinstall the tailgate for city driving or if I need to utilize the bedspace. Is this one your piece?

You would just want to buy a bumper without the swing out option and use a tiregate. If I'm reading you correctly

That's an Nfab carrier in those photos .. mounted to the utility track and not swing-out.

    That would work.
I guess I could get your rear bumper and the NFab spare mount..
Keep us posted when you get the bumper mocked up.

Any thoughts on coming up with a rear diff skid plate? BAMF needs some competition.
I like his a lot. Especially the pinion protection. But I'm wondering if the stress placed on the third member case where the skid mounts is something to be concerned with? I'm kinda thinking spreading the mount out over a wider area, so as to spread the stress out...?...

I am considering some diff armor but have not started working on it yet.

Regarding other fabricators, I do my best to be different though there are only so many ways to build stuff so often items are similar. If there are specific features that make an item exclusive to another company I will not attempt to imitate out of respect for the other fabricator. I do my best to be innovative and at least a little different than the next guy and I believe most shops do the same. Typically when someone wants something that looks exactly like another product I suggest they just go for the other product. If they like what I have they buy mine. Thanks

Cool. After having your skid, and seeing the 2012 bumper you've made and lack of anything up front on mine,I'm wanting a real bumper.

^^ This is how you can tell Tyler is a true fabricator.

    Keep up the good work.

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
maybe you can point me in the right direction. I am trying to add 2 additional cross bars to my rack basket to better accommodate surfboards. The company who makes the rack does not offer a cross bar so the easy way is out. After a google search a structural pipe tee fitting looks like it could work but cant find them in less than 1". Rack is powder coated so if possible I don't want to weld anything in.
This did not seam worthy of a new thread and I definitely think you know your shit so thought you might be able to help.
    Thanks!

Hey Tyler for the front IFS skid have you ever made or can you make it in 1/4" instead of the 3/16"?

I have not bothered but could do it if the demand was there. In my opinion the 3/16" is plenty and going to 1/4" might give a touch more protection but is adding more weight and with full armor and bumpers, winches etc these things get heavy. I run 700# coils with pretty stout valving and it doesn't take too much speed to pound my tires into the upper wheel wells at full bump.
