    My guys just called because they can't fit a 35-1/2" wide door into a 35-3/4" wide opening.

    Wut the F*CK!!

    I asked why not and they said "it didn't fit". No sh*t sherlock. So I asked what was the tightest point and they say 35-3/4". Am I missing something? These guys get paid more then someone with a masters degree and I have to hand hold them all day every day.

    I see many beers in my future.

    not sure what they're installing, but the rough opening for a door is generally 2" wider than the door itself.

    No it isn't. Last door of the day and 15 minutes before they leave they call me and have no good answers to my questions. I put a laser to every door jamb to check for level, I also checked the floor for humps, and checked the header. I also left 1/4" shim space under the header just in case.

    How the heck does a smaller peg not fit into a bigger hole? Even if the frame jambs were racked 1/4" the glass door has hardware to adjust for it.......and from what I have on my field notes that jamb was only 1/8" out of square.

    Can't fix stupid, but sadly we have to pay $600 per day for this "skilled" labor.

    Glass doors. Only have 1/8" clearance on jambs, 3/8" sill, and 3/16" head. Any more and people bitch about the gaps being to big. Looks exactly like these cause it's the same job. Just a single door instead of a double thats pictured.
