Well my buddy at work left for Vegas to get married, so he let me use his lift/shop to rebuild my front end.

I knew it had alot of issues, and lack of maintenance in 2 years. So I suppose it was an absolute must. I thought about getting help, but fuck it I took the one opportunity I had and went with it.

I didn't take many photos, but you get the idea..

I pulled the axle shafts to find them twisted EVER so slightly of course... no big deal.. hard to see in the photo.

I had the hub and shit stripped down and couldn't get the knuckle to come off the inner C...

Turns out I wasn't using a big enough BFH. And on the last strike my lower BJ popped out... well that was cool..

New ball joints omfg! So much NEED.

Inside the diff here we can see some rust, I had a bad axle seal so obviously water got in... Oh well.. I cleaned it off with emery cloth.

The inner seals are difficult to get out since they usually require a special tool/ ingenuity.

    I came up with this...

Not only did it clean my housing out (no outer axle seal so dirt can fill up), but it popped the seal out like a charm.

    Hungry for mud?

I really didn't get many more photos after that. I ended up buying longfields UHMW spindle bearing/ small seal/ thrust washer replacement bushing.

Yes I put plenty of grease on her.

All in all I ended up having 3 toasted wheel bearings, 2 toasted spindle bearings, 1 leaking axle seal, 1 leaking pinion seal.

Krawlers (red labels) are pretty much impossible to buy unless you know someone in the biz. They are competition only tires... super sticky, don't last very long, and cost WAY WAY WAY to much.

On a side note... my fucking tires still aren't here, they made some gay ass excuse about why popcorn pops at 450 degree's F or something

At least I painted my bead locks...

They are like $200 more total but still :p everything is so expensive really. The mud in the axle is inevitable. There is only an inner seal so the tubes fill up. The pic I have was just me pushing it into the diff :D
