So got bonus from work today and splurged on the Taco. Viair 450P ordered, front bumper paid, Warn XD9000 ordered, some more recovery gear (d-ring shackles, snatch blocks, strap), ARB deflator and some titanium tape for insulating part of my exhaust pipe. Taking a couple days off next week to put some TLC into the truck. Got brake lines and a Wilson 1000 CB antenna sitting in the garage as well I need to install. Anybody else got some mods they want to install next week? :headbang:

Anyone possibly looking for a OEM Cargo Divider or OEM side steps for a DCLB? Figured I'd ask first here...

    titanium tape? hmmmmm, interesting
I've got new brakes that have just been sitting in the boxes for months I need to get on. AND my CB and antenna. I was going to suggest we have a mod day when we all get our bumpers (you, I and that other guy...) but don't know how long it will take to get it coated and all.

I'm open to having a mod day any time next week at my place, seeing as I'll be modding for a couple of days anyhow. I have a bunch more tools than I had before. I also ordered a Makita 5200 Big Bore compressor that should be here Tuesday so we now have air tools at our disposal. I've been looking at getting a hydraulic scissor lift for the garage but I need to get our shed built so I can make room in the garage. Once that's done, we will be able to pull our trucks in and work underneath. :D

Otherwise, we need to get together for a bumper install day. Now that the truck is a bit more capable, I'm finding the front bumper gets a lot more close calls and scrapes.

Too bad one of us doesn't specialize in body and paint repair :p.

Yeah Troy - I saw the titanium tape online and reviewers love the stuff compared to the regular tape insulation. Super easy to put on. I only looked at it because I wanted to make sure exhaust doesn't warm up things too much after my re-route. I haven't noticed any problems at all, but I just saw that the stuff only cost like $30 and seemed like a quick and easy mod.

Just did the brakes on my wife's RX330 and dad's GS300. Got all the stuff you need to install brakes at the house if you want to come by, including anti-seize, etc.

It seemed to work great, with the exception of hitting on lots of overhead branches! Liberty had alot of those! I am returning my walmart cobra since I couldnt find a place to my liking to mount it, plus it would be nice to have a channel scan option. I just ordered a handheld cobra (same one Sean has). Going to run the Lil Wil through my 3rd brake light eventually.

Did you guys already get yours? I still have to wait till the end of the month before mine should be shipped. At least by my calculations on the lead time he gave me. Keep it updated when everyones going to be installing them and if I can get the time off I wouldnt mind giving/receiving help putting them on.

Did you go to the company meeting yesterday?

I'm finally ready to get around to installing 5100's, what days are you taking off work? Having an extra set of hands and air tools would make things SO much easier and faster for me. I live even closer to you now, we moved a few months ago into downtown Bellevue, which unfortunately means I don't have a shop anymore.

There's a few guys in this thread that are probably wondering who the hell I am...but I've been following the threads off and on, and I really want to hit Fortune Creek some upcoming weekend. I thought about joining the Liberty trek last weekend, but it didn't sound like my stock suspension would have cut it.

    Picked up a Lincoln 175 SP+ ---- A nice little 220V MIG welder...

I've got so many little things that I've been wanting to weld up, I figured its about time...

    WHENS THE NEXT WHEELING TRIP??

The FJ guys are talking about going up to Fortune Creek again on the 22nd... It's a really easy run.

Alan, we need another good hardcore run... I just need to finish up pounding and fitting the 35's. I'm planning to do that tonight
