I finally got the chance to look at the shocks in the light and I found the number I couldn't see last night. The sticker on the shock says "

Oh i love playing in the water, and as long as i have a winch and it's not submerged im not scared to play by myself. Then again im fairly mellow in the water to i dont like to splash around to much i don't have a snorkle yet and factory air box's act just like wet try vacs.

 

yea that all has bi amped system tho and crossovers. Probably just crossovers. That helps a lot. It filter the lows to the bigger woofer and the highs to the tweeter making the speaker more efficient and thus better sounding.

right. Or you could get some component speakers for up front. That would help a lot too.

and an 8'' sub would be plenty too. Google the JBL Stealth box. Might be something you like. i almost bought a used one. wouldn't fit my one of my subs tho.

6 speakers? What are your amps? I run 2 twelves on a mono and 4 6x9's on a 4 channel.

yea man. I have the stock speakers wired in series so the old rear is not a front speaker. So i have 4 front speakers, two 6x9s for rears(and i put them out in the bed for out door shit like at moab) and two Type X's

i had two 4 ch amps for the front and rears. A sony 600w and 700w. I would bridge the 700w amp to get 115w RMS out of each channel to drive the 6x9s which are 100w RMS each. Then do the same for the fronts. But my 700w died cause i broke the gain knob adjusting it one day due to it being mounted at a bad angle(its the one with the blue, 600w is under drivers seat)

so now just my 600w amp drives them all. Just haven't gotten around to fixing it.


my sub amp is a 4000w mono block amp. Wired in parallel for 1 ohm it puts out about 2400w RMS which is great for my two 1000w Type X's.

at Moab, the normal speakers where up about half way. Sub gain was all the way down. I had lots more to push, but didn't as it wasn't a dance party haha plus i don't push it that hard unless the truck is running..even doing what we did killed my battery the next morning remember?

Bleh... My Grandpa is in the hospital and it looks grim... He went to the hospital in Malad yesterday to have some tests done and when he left the hospital he had a heart attack walking to his truck... They figure he layed there anywhere from 5-15 minutes before somebody found him and started performing cpr while an ambulance came around to him. Luckily his heart was still beating, but it stopped when they got him into the hospital. They got it going again and life flighted him up here to Poky. The did a hypothermia treatment to try to save his brain while they worked to stabilize him and get his oxygen levels back up to normal.

They warmed him back up a few hours ago, but there are very low signs of brain activity and the hospital staff said it doesn't look good... (his brain may have starved while he was laying in the parking lot...) They said it can take 2-3 days for brain function to return after the hypothermia treatment though so we have our fingers crossed. He is breathing on his own and his body is naturally fighting off the clots so those are good signs. When they poked his fingers and toes he showed very slight pain reactions and he coughed once so things may be starting to come back
