meh.... the hill that jim broke on isn't a ridiculous climb.... Cloudy went up it easier than I did, and he's got open diffs. :) Jim's crontrol arms were missing bolts, so it was bound to break sooner or later......

Got most of the rear bumper tacked together and mocked up on the truck.... I need to narrow the sides a bit, add some bracing for the tow hitch, and make the bedside/tail light protectors. befoer it's welded to gether and then on the truck. I like the way it looks.... but I kinda wish a went with 2" tube instead of 1.5"... ah well too late now. lol

Also, finally decided to finish up my skid plates... Just need to drill holes and then paint before the main skid is done. :) Then I have to finish the transfer case/tranny skid plate and the crossmember.

Looks like everything is turning out pretty damned good! :jellydance: of the 1/4" skids:cool:

And yeah, when I was researching before I built the rear bumper everyone said they used 2" square tubing. Looking at pics, and looking at the truck I thought there was no way the bumpers were 2". I thought 2" would look huge haha but I went with it, and happy with the results. What is the wall thickness?

Nice looking skids and bumper silas!

You could have gone 2.5" and it still would have looked good.

Thanks, man! I thought the same thing but failed to research it... hahaha  Wall thickness is .125.
No, sir... haha I had the main skid crudely welded together and fitting nicely, but I didn't have time to finish them before Moab. I was on stock skid plates the whole time! haha Cliffhanger turned them in to tin foil and I was constantly worrying about my t-case.....
Thanks, man! and yeah... I agree.
