I guess reading from the rv.net I am brain washed for a bigger truck

We will go on two different camping trips in Sept and I will know better with the stuff loaded in.

I'm assuming that the heated is closer to the $399.

Sorry I can't justify that much for heated mirrors

If you re-read the post from the manufacture I think he had said that the heater will be in all the mirrors because the cost was so little to add the heater. The cost difference will be in the smooth vs rough texture and or the chrome, I am not sure if they all will have the turn signal.... maybe I shouold go back and re-read it also....:)

Are the factory Dodge passenger side main mirrors not slightly convex??

Whoops  fell a little behind on this thread. Haha

With the manual. Does that mean the whole thing is manual? Or just the folding?

I THINK don't KNOW for certain, but I believe the manual are completely manual for both folding and adjusting. The power will be power just for adjusting, still fold manually.

Do you guys think that I would need these towing mirrors? Im looking at buying an enclosed trailor. 7 feet wide by 14 feet long. It weighs about 2,500 dry and 3,500 loaded up. I have not towed anything with my truck yet, thanks guys!

Well sorry I have not answered the questions right away. As far as the convex question. I don't believe it is because of it having the part in the corner. It's like that because when backing up a trailer with the mirror you want to get the most accurate idea of where the trailer is and the bubble helps on blind spots on the highway.
For the pricing, the only one that is $399 is the chrome verson. Please look at the orignal price post for any other questions there. Also the fold and the extension on all of them is manual, the power is for the adjustment of the glass itself.
Something that a local member questioned that nobody on here has asked is that the controls for the power if it changes as the mirror is in tow mode. Because the whole mirror tilts to the left (on drivers side) in tow mode he thought that when you hit the up button to adjust the glass that the mirror was gonna move to the left. They DO NOT change. They work the same whether the mirror is tucked in or extended. Up is up, left is left etc.
Please let me know if I missed anybody's questions

7 feet wide, you will need some sort of towing mirror. This is a very good idea if you find yourself doing it often.

When and where should we expect these to be in stock. I'd be looking for some black powered ones. Is there going to be group buy or no?

I don't have a real specific time frame as of yet but they are working on them and shouldn't be long at all. I will talk to them about a GB as soon as they become available.

The wife and I are considering buying a pop-up which isn’t very long or tall but it’s wider than my ’06 Prerunner so I will need towing mirrors. (Especially since I live in fascist Cali where they love writing tickets for any reason.)

I’d go for the ProEFX mirrors in a heartbeat vs. some half-assed clip-on. I think the group buy is a great idea.

Failing that I would like to be told when they hit retail distribution.

Meanwhile, we’ll see if we buy that trailer….

I have a couple of questions.

    1. Is the price per pair of mirrors, or just one?
    2. Can I get powered ones without the turn signal? I'd rather not have to wire the turn signals in.

    Thanks!

Yes they are almost done. They just sent me a new all black pair. I will send the pics as soon as I get home.
