2.5 weeks ago I had my full OME lift (885x & Nitrochargers F&R) installed with top out spacer in the front and Toytec TBS AAL for the rear. The front was crazy high at first and now it's settled down a bit, but still about 1" higher than the rear. Sure I could take out the spacer, but that's no fun. I need to see what my options are to get my rear up an inch.

I'd like to take this opportunity to get rid of the AAL if possible and go with a leaf pack to soften up the rear a bit. Would the Icon or Wheelers 3 Leaf progressive packs give 2" if I kept the overload leaf? I'm thinking my TSB AAL brought me 2" over non TSB trucks so I'm wondering if I'll end up at the same height if do leaf pack + OL? My guess is that I need 2.5-3" in the rear to sit level/slight rake.

Did anyone else have a little bro after their OME lift with top out spacer?

I ran 885s and an AAL and was raked just fine, installed the same lift on my friends truck and the rake was fine. I am now running 886s and Dakars and I love the rake. What size spacers are on top of the 885s ? Are you sure they aren't 886s ?

885x with 5100s and top plate spacer for full 3", RCD extended 5100s in rear, dakars, flip kit, LR UCAs, tint, shorty antenna, in channel rain guards,BHLM, blacked out emblem, OEM side steps, weathertechs, debadged, rear diff breather
I believe its a 1/4" top plate thus achieving anywhere from 3/8" to 1/2" of lift(maybe a hair more depending on cab type).............its designed to achieve a full 3" lift as opposed to the 2.5"ish(again depending on cab type). So if a truck has saggy leafs..........no way though on our toyota:rolleyes: and add 1.5 or 2"ish inches to a saggy leaf set it can def make symptoms of a BRO wagon.

Should of got dakars in the first place. That is a "complete" OME lift

OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
I opted out on buying the top plate spacer and I have rake.. My good friend Sean had the 885x's with top plate spacer and the Dakar Leaf pack and he had rake. The Dakar leaf pack might be something you should look into also.

I'm running a 1/4" top plate on 885s and I've still got 3/4" of rake. I left my overload in though. That will only give you about 1/2" more lift though. You sure they put the AAL in right? I ask because there was thread on here where the shop put his AAL on top of the the leaf pack instead of under it.

I definitely do not have any rake on my setup. The bro status is slight, but it's there. I probably just need more time for my fronts to settle more. The rear regardless needs to be improved by either the dakars, icons, or wheeler 3 pack.

Do the springs have the model number on them? I'm sure they are 885s, but I'll double check tomorrow just in case Toytec made a mistake.

How long did all of your front lifts take to settle fully?

The 885x springs aren't supposed to sag (the old 885s would). My 885xs haven't changed in a year

I did not measure before or directly after, but it seems that the fronts have settled a bit since they were installed. Maybe I just think that b/c I'm used to seeing the lift now.

JonnyBb, did your fronts not settle at all?

No settling in the front so far. The rear has settled a bit (about 1/4")

for sure stiffer than stock springs...I'm going to go out and check now to see if there is any identification on them.

885X for sure...unless they were mislabeled.

At this point I'm 99% sure I'm going to order the Icon or Wheelers 3 leaf progressive and ditch the AAL. Portland is pothole capital of the West so any improvement in the rear is going to be worth it's weight in gold.

Did you checks to make sure that they put the AAL on right? Below the pack instead of on top of it.
I've got the Wheelers 3 leaf and it only gave me 1.5", not sure it will help you if you already have an AAL on there and it is bro'ed

I take it you did not keep your overload leaf? How do you like the ride with the Wheelers?

I have 885x with 1/4" top plate spacers also. And i got the wheelers 3 leaf progressive AAL in the rear with overload still in. And after about a month or so my rear is about 1/2" higher then front.. But i do need to measure again soon bc last time i measured was 3 weeks ago...
I like having it a slight rake but not much, looks good!

Oh, and this is with the 4 leaf pack that comes on the Sports and tow package models
