Ladies and gentleman... I have a wonderful deal for you today. For a limited time only, and for only $100, you can purchase my less than a year old AFE stage 2 intake for the 05+ 4.0 Taco. I just replaced it with the Gen2 TRD intake as I had grown tired of the noise and went back to a quiet Intake. This intake Is in decent condition.. it HAS been modified to not be AS loud. It won't win any beauty contests, I must admit, but it doesn't affect the functionality one bit. I'm in the process of figuring out how to clean it up a bit. It does sound great at around 2k RPMs.. like the deep growl of a v8. At WOT it sucks In air like an Olympic athlete and still sounds good, but for me.. just too loud for mine and the gf's liking. $100 and if your the lucky peep who buys this intake... You'll receive.... A FREE PIONEER AVH -P4300 DOUBLE DIN STEREO. It works, plays music, the screen displays all info.. the ONLY issue is that the screen is unresponsive to touch.. I know.. I know.. then whats the point.. well, you can send it off for repair to Pioneer, and they fix it. It will be between $100-$200 at the most.. and its done. For less than a new one or even a used one.

Can you still play music to it some how?

 

yeah.. it still plays. you can change the song and volume since those are physical buttons on the deck. it would definitely be ok for temporary.. but i would send it out and get it fixed.

 

You can send it to pioneer and have them fix it. I'd guess around 100-200$, hard to say.. Could be a 20$ fix for all I know.

The remote should access the full menus but I think Josh's remote is broken. You could but the upgraded DVD remote for it and it should work just fine to get to the EQ and what not.

If you need some help with the install let me know.

 

Stereo would be nice to fix and use but no use for the intake.

 

So what features would I not be able to use? Also could I just give you some money just for the Double din?

 

I dont think the remote can access the menu honestly. the remote i tried wasnt broke because it works with my new one.. and i cant access the menus on the new one either. idk.. maybe a different remote like yours would.

Sounds good. I am not really a stereo guy but would be nice. Hell I was just stoked when I tore the stock stereo apart and soldered on the audio jack so I could plug in my phone and run pandora/mp3 through the cd output.

 

hahaha, speaking of which.. i still need to solder my factory Aux plug into my new DD deck. damn you for reminding me of this! lol

 

I'm just saying I would be very happy if I could get the DD. I would even throw in a bear hug as well.
