Gah we are in the same boat. I think the next mod will be a winch. And then depending when i blow up the front end, an arb.

Yea i understand. Re-gear and lockers are expensive and it just isnt logical to do one at a time. And then with the re-gear you need the bigger tires. Shit just adds up so quick.

Thats a good idea. That will be such a sweet setup. Pretty much the same setup I would like someday.

Eventually i would like to SAS, but that is very very far away. My plans for SAS are very expensive and the ifs works pretty well for me. And i still need to DD it so I think LT would be perfect until it isnt my DD anymore.

And then i would SAS. diamonds, hi9s, 40s, linked, etc. :D

ahhhh gotcha. well just remember LT is 3.5'' wider on each side haha Mid travel could be a good money saving option as well that is still VERY capable. I mean..Mid will run you like 1200 for some extended CO and 500 for UCAs. LT is 2400 plus like 1500 for CO and then new fenders are like 400.

    Just an idea.

I know my truck could never fully utilize SAS for mine needs haha so ill just drool over yours and the others

I keep drooling over this one.

    I loooove that rig.

I hear ya on the LT. Im going to try to run high backspaced rims (stock ones I have now without spacer) without fenders. We'll see how that goes. I think a truck with LT, lockers, crawler, and 35s would be about as capable as you can get with ifs. And then you can still easily drive it on the road. Just throwing ideas out there that I have floating around in my head, mostly just dreaming.

Holy shit that is a sick 4runner!

yea thats why im going that route. I have not real need for SAS and i will never run larger then 35s on this rig anyways, so it'll be a fun rig for sure.

but damn..if you do that to your truck...ffffuuuuuuck lol

    Video from Woolys.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjgV6_ypc8A&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Pretty sure i took out the spider gears shortly after the video ends. Hitting the brake and gas while one tire is spinning = breaking shit. It looked like ATRAC on a 1st gen. Soooooooooo like i should have done the first time, im going to buy a new diff with an ARB in it. Then hopefully I will just take out CVs instead of the whole diff. And if that doesnt work then ill be buying a dana 60 and 14 bolt.

Also slashed a brand new MTR the week before.

Which one? The front was is pretty good. The rear is alright, on hard hits it moves up a little bit and gets into the tail gate, but all you got to do is loosen the bolts and pull it back down.
