The one thing about Tacoma World, is that this site has a pretty tight knit comunity. Lets not forget the first sentance in the Code of Conduct is:

We (TW Staff) understand that some members like to joke in a sarcastic wa, and thats fine. We also understand that many members like to joke around with the Staff. And thats fine too. However, we have noticed alot of postings that are rude, uncalled for, or go right into a name calling shitstorm for no reason. If a member says somthing you dont agree with, consider that maybe the member is just playing around, or trying to make a joke that might not come thru in text as well as it did in thier head. maybe consider sending a PM to the member asking "Hey! Im not sure what you mean, etc." before unleashing a text of fury. Attacking new members WILL NOT be tolerated. If they are asking about a worthless mod to their truck, either show them how to search for the answer/discussion about it, answer them in the post, or ignore it. If one member is joking with another member in a thread, instead of name calling, perhaps send a PM to the member, asking that the thread be kept clear of off topic postings. Now, If a new member joins up, and says you all are Donkey testicle suckers, then by all means, feel free to let the caps lock verbal beating loose. Also, Use the "Chat With Staff" feature Bob implimented. If there are any questions about a post, thread, new member, etc., you can post in that, and get all of our opinions. OR, tell a joke, post a pic we havent seen, etc. The main thing is to keep TW what it was that made all of you come here, and stay.
    :)

Oh.....and another thing. If someone posts a pic of their truck, and mods they did, if they ask what people think, be constructive. If they say "Here's my truck!" and you dont like it, then dont post. If you cant respect the mods someone has done to THIER truck, to make it THEIR OWN, then you dont need to post in the thread. If we all had the same taste, this would be a pretty boring place. Ive said it before, and Imma gonna say it agian....THIS Is TACOMA world. ALL Tacomas are welcome (and their owners), be they crawling malls, racing in the desert, breaking shit on rocks, draggin frame, or just stayin bone stock.

Thats really the only thing I fuckin hate about being online is the shit talking. There is a handful of folks on here that I get tired of seeing in threads because all they do is talk shit to folks and instead of trying to help them or give an intelligent answer to their question they just put them down and tell then how stupid and retarded they r for wanting to do something or for asking a simple question. A lot of immature, unhelpful people on this site, most of which seem to have been here for awhile. IMHO u moderators need to step up ur game a little bit and lay that hammer down on some of these guys. Its very frustrating trying to defend other people or urself from the same guys every fuckin time.

Well said, Chris. Not everyone woke up one day and knew how TW worked, how to MOD their trucks, the different thread sections, etc.

...and Tundras are welcome too :D

 But they are asking what people think, so good or bad? Maybe they shouldn't ask what people think if all they want is unicorns and rainbows?

He said be constructive, not love everything they did. There is a ton of difference between "that fucking sucks" and "not my style but if you are happy..." or "Did you think about trying ..."

When you see posts like this, we ask you to report them. That brings them to our attention for a faster response. However, we also know of a few folks that like to hover on the fringe of the rules, and cross over the line often. These members have been talked to, and are being watched.

Nothing really. But I can see things escalating. I felt its time for a little reminder of what TW is all about.

Well said Chris and thanks for taking the time to post this. It has been going downhill for a while now... that being said I bet this thread will get very interesting soon as well.

If you feel like you see a trend-Let us know...Chat with the Staff is perfect for that.
We notice stuff and act on what we think/discuss bit if something is bothering you, it probably bothers others. The more info we get-The better decision we can make.

    Yep.
I'll keep that in mind, but just as Chris stated, there is a handfull of members that "like to hover on the fringe of the rules" and just love to keep pressing the red button. It's a hard case to enforce on here because of the vast differences in thresholds of communication.

Last I checked this is an open thread and not a chat with the staff thread.
You're quoting parts what chris said and taking it out of context.

    And "mod-fanboy" I'm not. Anti-douchbag I am. ;)
