Strange problem...after fueling the truck will not start , ran diagnostics, they are clean. After a playing with it a bit can get it to run as long as you keep the gas pedal down. and after a few hours it runs again fine until...we fuel it again then it wont start, First 2 times it was on an empty tank , last time was on 3/4 full tank. I am thinking fuel filter...but its shot in the dark, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Could be a fuel pump / filter issue.

No mods, no accidents, just after fuel otherwise it runs fine, i am planning to replace the fuel filter before the next refuel to see if thats it. I do not see any crack, bends or obstructions to the air flow..it only happen after fueling, and then will run great until i fuel it again,

Do you fill it till it clicks? and it doesnt start? can you fill it to half tank and it starts fine? So as i understand it only doesnt start properly when the tank is completely full?

Does it run better after some time after refuel? Yes it runs fine once we get it running again.
How low do you let the fuel get when refueling? first 2 times it happend tank was close to E, last time over 3/4 full
Does it get better when the engine cools down? i think letting the engine cool off helps it but just guessing

check the filter definitely you should get in the habit of filling up @ 1/4 tank. If you run it near empty it will suck in all the crap thats in your tank possibly clogging it. Not saying this is your issue but definitely good to do.

I didnt really think to try and fill it part way, may give that a shot and see what happens....only fill it til the first click, then again my wife may be trying to over fill it. On my way to get the fuel filter i may try to put a few gallons in to see if it stalls...thanks for the welcome Artillery68 , Philly transplant here...miss the Shore..:)

Fuel pump overheated since the tank run to empty. The fuel cools the pump and when empty runs hot. Next time it does this smack the bottom of the tank near the pump area with a rubber hammer. I bet the fuel pump is on its way out.
