White...silver is over done...to many silver ones on the road. Where I live black is just to hot. The sun would just bake it.

THIS^^^ is always how it is! DO NOT settle for another color when you buy your truck. Make sure you get the color YOU want, reguardless of the deal and/or options! You always will regret it when you see the color you really wanted!

Does buying a new truck really require all that much of a bullet to bite? My purchase was painless, so a bullet wasn't needed. :)

As for color, think about your own personality. If you don't enjoy spending a lot of time cleaning and polishing, a darker color (where dirt is often quite visible) may not be the best choice. That rules out the black, charcoal gray, and dark blue. White isn't much better. Silver doesn't show dirt as readily. On the other hand, if you actually enjoy fiddling with a vehicle, those darker colors (and white) may be right up your alley. Of course, if you don't care what the truck looks like (to heck with dirt), then this paragraph means nothing.

Now it's all about how color fits your character. Most (male or female) view silver as high-tech, black as outlaw, white as feminine, charcoal gray as distinguished, and dark blue as sporty. Each tend to attract those with similar views of themselves. For example, many guys claim white is a real chick magnet (a color they might choose), while black attracts party girls (nightclubs, bars, billiards, etc), charcoal gray attracts classy chicks (candlelight dinners, moonlight walks, etc), and dark blue attracts tomboys (beach, camping, etc). Don't know how much all of this is true, but both white and blue has worked for me in the past. Purchased silver this time, but firmly out of the chick market at this time (don't know one way or the other in this regard).

All that should certainly give you something to think about.

Getting a Tacoma, FJ, 4runner or Tundra is avoiding the bullet IMO, buying anything else is biting the bullet.

I wish they would bring back the old school khaki color.

My little stock 4cyl is black. I like the color but if I bought another today I would pick out a different color don't know what that would be. I have seen all the colors on tacomas and at times I can say "man that really looks good" on any of the colors. Just keeping them clean and shiny makes all of them look good. What I really like is that matte gray you see on some trucks I think it is primer, but it looks cool.

I bought a black Tacoma kind of on an impulse buy. The dealer had three 2.7 DCSB's, white, silver, and black. I chose black because I don't see many of those. If they would have had the MGM I would have bought that one. I love the look of the black though. If I keep my truck long enough to get a paint job I am thinking a quality satin black with gloss black wheels, bars, and maybe other parts.

Mag Gray FTW! (I've always owned black, but really like my magnetic gray Tacoma).

I'm also assuming you mean 2013 rather than 2012?
