Holy shit balls I have the same question.

I am installing RI Duallys. Watts 15, Amp Draw 1.

I tried jerry rigging the RI connector to the stock one just to see if it would work, but no dice. If it matters, I was doing this when I was doing BHLM and had all lights disconnected from harnesses. Maybe it didn't turn on cause the other lights were disconnected? Comparison, a light on a christmas tree?

Anyways, can I wire these directly to the existing OE harness and be G2G?

Factory bumper mounted fogs only come on with the low beams unless you've done one of the several "any time" mods (which may get you into trouble at inspection).

The Duallys will be fine running on the stock wiring. The PIAA's might be pushing it. I think the lower wattage PIAA's are 55 watts which would probably be as high as I would ever want to go off the stock harness/wiring. Anything higher than that and you should think about re-wiring.
