    yeah. mom and dad did not want me too work in HS. so i got out and started looking/ applying. you do that for so long and don’t get anything, and get tired of applying so you stop for a bit, and start agin. i mow and stuff for mom and dad, and my godmother owns a physical therapy business, down my the UTK campus. i mow that once a week for $60 1.5 of work by my self, push mow,weed eat and blow the grass/leafs off the parking lot. thats why i don’t have hardly any mods to my truck. but thats about to change big time. :D

    edit: also why my post count is so high, i don’t go do much that coast money because i don’t have money to go do shit.

    Im not hatin on u when I say all this but why the fuck would ur parents not want u to start working!? My family isnt very wealthy so I got my first job at 13, the summer between 8th and 9th grade I worked with a buddy of mine who's dad owned a construction business and he paid me $8 an hr in cash to go around jobs sites and clean up. That was $320 a week so I saved all that. Then I worked at a skate shop, a car wash and a car shop all before I turned 16. I saved up $7k and bought a car. I went to college straight out of high school and started doin electrical work at the same time. Im 25, make $50k a year and dont even have a typical ” good” career, as some people frown on construction workers. All im sayin is getting a job is part of growing up and I understand the whole school first thing, but if u went ur whole childhood without the responsibility of making ur own money then how r u gonna be prepared when real life smacks u on the ass once u get outta college!? Don't get mad zach, I just think ur parents shouldnt hold u back from doin anything

    I've worked since I was 13 too, working for my dad (he's a contractor). Started with $5 an hour next year it was $8, then $10, and this year I made $11 an hour. There's really not a better feeling than showing up at home at 8:30pm when the boss(dad) gets off at 5 and left you to keep up with the Mexicans laying 46 rolls of sod :D
