Were not on the radio for some reason it won't transmit.. Says error when I hit the transmit button... We're stopped about 20 miles away from the cabin my tranny fluid temp light came on with a check engine light when we were on the trail... Guess all the rocky slow up hill on a hot day took a toll.. Dunno does anyone have a scan gauge there so we can see what code it's throwing?

EDIT: got the radio working again I think... On 153.110

you should have said something about needing a scan guage when we got back to the cabin. i have an obd2 bluetooth reader that should've been able to pull up any codes.

anyways...all those things they say about women drivers...still true.:p but i guess there are a few exceptions to the rule:thumbsup:

great trip everyone. thank you hiatt for the hospitality. looking forward to doing it again:D

Hahaha well thanks! I would have but the engine light went off by the time we got there and never came back on... Guess that's a good thing but I'd still like to know what the code was !!

The code for the check engine light will be stored in memory, you should be able go pull it with the scan gauge ...as long as you have not disconnected the battery

will an AT Oil temp light also throw a check engine light? or is the tranny system completely separate from the OBD system?

If the AT Oil light came on from what I have read you need to flush and change fluid soon! Its supposedly burnt by the time the light comes on...
