Sounds good with the extra ingredients! You could also use corn starch or a lil flour to thicken up a runny sauce!

It's beyond the scope of a truck forum thread. :) Look up sushi rice, you'll need to learn how to make it. It's pretty easy as long as you have the right rice and dashi and rice vinegar. I usually make rolls with krab and cucumber and avocado. You can get unagi (bbq freshwater eel) in any asian market, and your local grocer should have quality frozen tuna. Steamed shrimp or prawn is a good protein as well.

I take mayo, add a dash of soy sauce, a little sugar and a drop of sesame oil to replicate the light brown sauce that you get at the restaurant. Add some sriracha for the spicy sauce.

I make it sometimes, but I like going out for it better. Here's a plate I made at some point...

I work with a guy who grew up in Maine - they eat lobster like we eat hot dogs - plentiful and cheap.

I had big plans for dinner tonight. I wanted to make Steak Carpaccio which I made, I also wanted to make fresh beet risotto which I didnt make. I did grill salmon, but I was rushed so no pics, plus it didnt look good at all.

Here is the carpaccio, its steak with arugula and pomegranate with fresh squeezed lemon juice. This photo was taken about 30 minutes after I put the lemon on. Very fresh and peppery with the arugula.

I will probably make the risotto tomorrow and I think I am making a roast, but eating alone. The wife already has plans. Maybe I will make it for lunch and see if anyones around.

Nice man! Here is the risotto I made today. It is a hand foraged mushroom, parmesan risotto with melted leeks and smoked tomato oil. Pretty bomb!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348103045.395952.jpg
