I beg of you all then. Why am I having CV boot issues?

Is it coincidence that the sway bar lower link bolt loosened and the sway bar jacked it up the first time and now the clip came off the top of the boot.

or is the angle really not allowing for it to stay in place.

The driver side has been and is good to go, so I think coincidence may be the right answer.

disclaimer, I am not a mechanic and have very limited experience with vehicles.

Probably just a freak thing. On my 07 I had it to about 3.25-3.5" of lift and ran 30k miles that way with no issues, and regularly took it offroad.

Yeah I agree. I guess back to Pat Lobb to get it fixed.

Hey Eric on another note. The items on your website are they built and ready to ship or is there a wait time like all the rest of the items.

I am thinking skid plates and the bed bars specifically.

Skids and a bed bar would take about 2 weeks to have ready right now, I just squeeze them in between bumper and slider builds. I've got one bed bar in stock at the moment, and I'm going to try and keep a set or 2 of Skids in stock all the time in the near future, just don't have them at the moment

Cool. I will no be getting something right this second, but in the near future.

As we discussed before, I really like those bed bars but might want to see about getting some taller for carrying kayaks.

I'm really interested in the bolt on option with kick out for my 2013 DCSB. What's the time to shipment on them? I went on the site and requested it to see the price and ETA but no answer...

They secure the bolts on the front mounting plates within the boxed section of the frame

As Eric said above those slide the nut all the way in the box portion.

Also Eric made this kick outs on the extension piece perfect to push in to the top or bottom of the frame so they do not stick out once tightened.
