Agreed, and these are the same idiots that try to pass all these gun laws but don't have a single clue what they are actually trying to ban....

 

I was at our local sporting goods store, Academy, and they are now carrying 5.11 tactical and a lot more bulk ammo. looks like they are headed in the right direction

Looking to build an upper from scratch if it's cheaper than purchasing a complete. I want the upper to be able to hold the following at the least:

-light/laser
-vertical grip (possibly fold-able)
-fold down front sights so that i can use optics. if optics fail, i'll have the ability for iron sights.

Taking recommendations for complete uppers as well. Would like a good quality built upper that isnt going to burn a hole in my wallet. Don't want to be cheap either dont want to have to rebuild

Gonna be building a Daniel Defense 14.5" upper with their RIS II rail system and pinning a Surefire MB556K. Now, just waiting for Magpul to release their new 'Stealth Gray' color to match my color fill

 

I got my upper from del-ton and it has ah UTG hand guard, magpul Gen 2 flip up sites and magpul hard guard. and I wanna and I think I spent like $500, $100 for the sites, $55 for the hand guard, and $25 for the vert grip.

 

Has anyone done a trigger job?

If by "trigger job" you mean taking a stone to the hammer or sear, then ive not heard of many people doing that. Most people that want a better trigger will get a drop in timney or Gieselle or a RRA 2 stage for something a little cheaper.
