anyone have an image that would show fuse locations and uses under the hood?

    I have a 2007 Tacoma pre-runner with the extended cab, 6 cylinder

I also have a Bi-polar sister (not joking) who had an episode and went under my hood removed some caps, like the radiator, oil, etc. unfortunately i don't know everything she did, however she did something that lead to my engine blowing a head gasket and having a fuel pump problem.

The cover to the fuse box under the hood is gone and my guess is that a fuse to something is missing.

i mechanic (real one, and nice guy) tested some fuses for me and he said the fuel pump was not working because a hose connected to the fuel line was not kicking out any fuel even though i had 1/2 a tank.

it is a very newish vehicle and had no problems till this episode. i am broke and have to fix it myself.

there is waterish looking liquid that comes out of the tail pipe when i start the truck. if the truck does start after alot of trying, it runs really rough, sputters, starts moving really slow, the whole 9 yards.

    any thoughts?

thank you kindly. this is ending up to be alot more then i hoped for to fix. i have the 6 cylinder so i am assuming there are 2head gaskets. one under each value cover. wish had purchased the 4 cylinder right now. :)

there does not seem to be alot of write ups on 2007 prerunners. probably because they are not really supposed to break till 400k miles. i have 150k

    urgh

There are two heads, one under each valve cover.... that's four gaskets (and then some)

Seriously... from the questions you are asking, you are not capable of fixing the truck. I understand not having the money, but you are going to make things worse attempting this yourself. You definitely lack the knowledge, and likely lack the tools to do the job properly.

If the head gasket is blown, that is coolant coming out of the tailpipe.
That coolant is mixing with your oil and damaging the bearings in the engine.

There is nothing that your sister could have done to cause the head gasket to blow unless she poured water into your intake, or drained the coolant and let the engine run until it overheated.

hmm....well given that your skills may exceed the task, and you are broke, find a regional forum near you on TW and post a "help wanted" add. there's bound to be someone local mechanically skilled and willing to help out a fellow TW member for some beer!

well the driving it on highway until it overheated is me. though technically it is sabotage, because i did know she removed all the caps and tuff.

i am going to give odering the part to removed the crankshaft bolt a try. if i get that last bolt off i can totally put everything back together.

Autozone has a free tool rental program that you should look into. You buy the tool from their loaner program and when you return it, they refund you the money (and if you keep it, you just paid retail for a used tool). If you don't have the tools for the job, I'd look into that. I rented a bushing press not that long ago from them.

I'm not even going to ask why you're messing with the crankshaft...
