I will do a traditional trigger job for folks, but you really are better off just buying a Geissele or Timney and calling it a day.

Paying someone a pile of money to tinker with a trigger in a lock rig to get it "right" isn't really cost effective in an AR when you have such a wide variety of aftermarket trigger sets out there.

BTW, here's a gun store pet peeve for you AR enthusiasts: Don't walk into a store and tell the guy behind the counter you're looking for an "LPK", it's like saying "lol" outloud

I get it maybe 3 times a week, people asking for a "LPK"

Is it really that hard to speak the extra syllable? Haha

that would be a heck of a father's day gift!!! :D

not sure what particular advice you are looking for, ...nothing wrong w/ stag arms,...have you taken a look at CMMG?... CMMG receivers have a nice hardcoat anodized teflon finish, that has a satin black appearance and wipes clean easily...

Not to derail this awesome thread...but contracts like these occur every 4-5 yrs regardless of the gov agency (USAF, USMC, FBI, etc) and should really be no surprise. You just dont hear about it. I'll bet a paycheck the DHS awards another contract for ammo around 2015. This isnt a bulk purchase; it is spread out over the life of the contract (5 yrs) and the "200 million" rds is only a # which the agency cannot exceed. Highly unlikely they will even reach that #.

I award these contracts for the AF. Used to do logistics and construction while deployed but now i do weapons systems.

    Tailwinds!

hes always wanted one just never did it. so i feel if i start it for him, and get the lower done, itll force him to get a upper

Only heard good things about Stagg. I would recommend Palmetto State Armory. Very economical, good customer service, and they have a stellar reputation. I have one PSA build. Zombie Runner has like a dozen of them! ;)

not all PSA experiences are alike. my experiences have been hit or miss. my shooting buddy has an AR that has been sent back twice and still won't go more than 7 rounds without a malfunction.
