Sorry to hear about your axle woes. Let me know if you need any help/info/advice in repairs.

I wanted to ask all of you here something. I was talking to my sister the other night about the new anti-texting law passed in Alabama. Her research said that if a police officer even SUSPECTS you of texting, he is allowed to take your phone and check your messages right there on the side of the road. All of this WITHOUT a warrant. Now I support the anti-texting laws, but this other rule of inspection has me crying out "civil rights violation" all the way. I would think that he would need a warrant to do this. Just like he can't make you open your trunk, and he cannot open your console or glove box, or look underneath seats and such without probable cause and a warrant.

I would think they consider someone looking at their phone while driving Probable Cause. I would suspect that they are not reading texts, but just looking at the time they were sent to see if you're texting and driving.

I do agree though. This appears to have much potential in violating a persons rights.

Yea until after christmas. Im going to do it like I should have the first time and put an ARB in the front, so instead of blowing up diffs I will blow up CVs. Much cheaper and easier. Then if for some reason that doesnt work, ill be buying a dana 60 and 14 bolt.

Allpro bumper Warn M8000 241,000 miles
Trying to convince the boss to let me get a different bumper for the front of my '07 Tacoma (company truck). Would anyone be interested in the Allpro hybrid front bumper that is on there now for say $400? It's missing one bar on each side and the grab handles-was like that when I bought it several years ago.

Here's a pic-it's plenty dirty in this pic:
    IMG_3808_aead3fd61bc1f2d7b89b45eca2993583e98ef0c7.jpg

Again, this is just a "feeler" for now. If you're serious, then pm me.

It is on the opposite side of the road from the mall. If you are coming west on university, it before bestbuy behind a gas station.

    Paul, you going to join?

haha a carrier locker would definitely be snapping cv's before anything else.

For what you would put into sas'ing the taco and dropping a bigger axle in the rear, you'd be better off selling the bobbed taco you got and getting a devoted trail rig. Something thats a better starting point than a dd truck. You can do wonders with something like an old beat up cj7 and some axles.

However, don't over estimate the power of most axles. I used to hate on my front D30 until I rode in that TJ I was telling you about. I thought he had a 44 up front but its just a d30. The way he was beating on that jeep, I would have broke before the damn axle would.

Just remember, you see 60's and 14's on buggies with 44's pushing 400-500hp. And they are full width's.
