I have a 2012 Tacoma and when the driver side window is up it makes a squeaking noise. The noise is at top of window where weatherstripping makes a turn (next to my ear). It only happens when the window is completely up. It seems that it is rubbing against the weatherstripping. I have sprayed WD-40 and armor all in the weatherstripping, but noise will not go away. I have also pulled weatherstripping off truck, but no change. Please help...this noise is driving me insane!

I have been having the same issue!!!! It is driving me nuts. The weatherstripping makes a "popping" noise when going over bumps and such. In addition, the window rattles when it is rolled down. I just took it to the deal for both of these issues. They said the window rattle is normal and they attempted to fix the weatherstripping issue, but it is still there. I might try some Armor All and see how that works.

Somewhere there is another thread on the same problem. I have the same problem on my 2011. Another member suggested wiping down the weatherstripping with 303 Aerospace protectant. It works for a month or so then you have to re-apply. Good luck - I share your pain.

Id agree on cleaning it well to get any dust/dirt/leaves/pebbles out of the track.....then follow up with 303 which repels dust unlike the other crap which only attracts dust

Never had this happen before but on both my 07 and '11 I had a bad whistle from the windshield around the top of it.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
my 2008 never did this, my 2013 drivers side drives me nuts with the windows up on the drivers side (luckily i normal drive windows down) it squeks like wet running shoe on tile only quiter, and the passenger side pops when you roll it up (both issues were there the day i drove it home) the squeek is a little better now after i put the window vent visor things on, and i sprayed some dry gun lub in it.. the passenger window pops and jolts at the top of the track, i figure its probably got a poorly made regulator or something but when it breaks ill fix it.

my 2012 had that, always sounded like it had a smal hole somewhere and i thought it was wierd.. upon inspection i found a small dent in the roof but that was it, never figured it out and im thankful that my 2013 doesnt do it!
