The Cobra should be fine, as stated a number of people use them with good feedback, I have read a number of reviews all positive. Antenna wise the Fire-stick is widely used offers compact design, a tad heavy, keep in mind that you should install no less then an 18' length of coax. Other Short lightweight antennas would be Francis, they make a 3,4 and 5 foot one. Keep in mind that if you go the bed rail system route you will need to run a ground from the mount to the frame for SWR purposes

btw, I'd stay away from the antenna spring, these at times can become an issue down the road for holding swr. The bed bar is really a no brainer, antenna mount and lights. Hopefully Tyler's contact has more then 1?

Well poo, looks like I need to do more research on how to mount the antenna and such. Wont it snap without the spring?

HAHAHA. Damn Bushes. All of this is a bit beyond me so I am going to need some help please. I'll do all the work just need a teacher. I am going to order The CB, antenna and the 18ft of coax today. Once that has been acquired I'll research my mounting options. I was thinking about just doing a Single mount tab for now and then get the rear light bar when I get the front one (and lights) but before that I need skids and sliders :)

btw, just for the folks wondering how many fills are possible out of a 10# co2 tank I just filled and had 26 top offs, and 18 full flat to fill, from 31" -35" tires, cost was 28 bucks to re-fill at air gas in KM

Ah ye ol CB mounting. Fun afternoon project right there. Make sure you get the PA speaker so you can yell at stupid kids who are screwing around along side of the road! May I recommend RJ as a ride along partner to commentate on people aloud.
