I personally hope they lose a bunch of fans and then get fucked. I also hope they lockout the full year because Toronto would have the best chance at the first overall pick. I watch Mackinnon all the time here in Halifax and he's gonna be insane

I for one say we boycott this thread and all hockey discussion until these assclowns get their heads out of their asses and make a deal. Fuckin sick of pro sports. The fans are not in anyone's interest in this discussion. When the owners give out 4 yr 6mil/yr contracts to 36yr old players that put up 70+ pts in a yr only twice, that's their own damm fault. They all are crying about money but, the fans are the ones that are hurting in these times, yet still scrap up the funds to see a game or buy the gear.

We should most definetely not buy any NHL merchandise. Things like NHL13 for PS3/xbox etc should be boycotted.

 

I'm sure if they reached an agreement tomorrow and not a single game was cancelled they'd still have the best chance at the first overall pick

 

I completely understand your frustrtion, though the truth is I am hoping that a whack of players go over and they televise the games over here. That would at least become a good slap-in-the-face to the league or make es all realize how good we had it. I just want to have some pro hockey games to watch.

Since I'm in CT I'm in a blackout area for NYR games, which would make Center Ice useless to watch them. I'd have to pony up for the online Game Center premium $$$ and I just might if they end up playing. I'm excited to see Nash in the lineup.

I'm not sure the owners want to lose that Winter Classic this season, so I think they may start up in December at the latest (if they even do). There's a lot of $ in those seats this year.
