Ive been thinking about going with the revtech 3' spacer for the front and 1 1/4' for the back... should I go with the diff. drop kit or rear AAL?? I was thinking AAL... And if I go with this im keeping stock shocks... not gonna do any off roading, just going for that aggressive look for something thats not gonna kill my wallet, also I want to be able to put some 285's on there too. let me know if im on the right track guys! and if not tell me what I should do! thanks!

Well, since cost is a major factor...how much is this kit?

Diff drop won't lift any...so yes to the AAL. Spacer lift will make it ride rougher. A coil over lift will either be as good or better than stock on ride quality.

Well when you lift 3" and stuff a 2 " taller tire in the fender, it doesn't look like much, but you can tell every time you get in...hahaha. I went with the "ultimate lift kit" that came from Toytec because I didn't want to sacrifice ride quality and I didn't want to use a spacer lift because over time it will wear on your stock coil spring. If you go higher than 3" you will have issues with your CV axles. Lots of vibrations. My lift was $1000 and I got quality parts. No vibrations, great ride and plenty of lift to fit 285's.

nice, I was checking that out right now on toytech, looks like ive got some decision making to do here.. do I care about ride quality? yes.. do I want to save my money? YES... do I want to sacrifice quality? no... is the look the most important thing? yes... saving money and buying a kit that may have negative affects on other parts later? not worth it haha

No, the 1st Gen kit won't work. I wouldn't spend the money on the spacer kit. Just my $0.02. For a prerunner, I'd give spindles some serious consideration.

I've been checking out the Maxtrac 4" spindle... Seems like a good way to go, maybe some 5100's in the front and an AAL 2.5" for the back? What do u think

You can piece them together and use the stock front suspension for a while. For the rear AAL, I'd recommend the Icon or Wheeler's 3-leaf AAL or a replacement leaf pack like the Dakars.

I've heard good things about the OME kit but I'm not sure if that will be enough lift for me, anything I could do to make the lift higher after putting I'm the OME? Or at that point would I be better off going with spindles?

If you want over 2 1/2 - 3" spindles are probably your route

So I don't even have to get billies for a while? Just the spindles and the AAL?
