    Now I know I'm comparing apples to oranges here and I also know there is no external adjustment for the dampening but when I use to race bikes, the Ohlins suspension on my 600RR had high and low speed compression adjustments as well as rebound. Do the 5100's have internal valving for high and low speed compression? Or do you have to step up to some serious components in the automotive suspension world to get that?

    Yea that what Real CO are for haha 5100 are fixed. You can get nicer CO and have the valving changed to your liking..however i don't know of any for our truck that you can change it on the go..

    I''ve always wondered about that too. I've only seen single adjusters on shocks for our trucks. Years ago (and they still may), Rancho made shocks with adjustable dampening. I really liked the ability to stiffen the ride for offroad and soften it for on road. Worked very well with airing down for the trail. The aired down tire absorbed the small stuff where the stiffly dampen shock absorbed the big stuff.

    Recently, seeing adjusters on resi shocks like the foxes and kings. Still only a single adjuster tho so maybe it effects both compression and rebound. :notsure:

    its true they do..but if you can look out the window while you go over a speed bump a little faster than normal and youll see that it looks like the wheel amd tire have a ceasure or somethin lol idk why i decided to look one day but after that I have am image in my head that im gonna fuck something up bad haha it doesnt look right...but yeah at slow speeds they do seem a little cloudy

    Yeah. I dont plan on reusing them again. Im going for a 100% new suspension of everything except shackles. I have another question. Since im only going 1.5" in the rear will i need to extend the BPV bracket or my break lines. And what about break lines in the front. Can i keep them stock too?
