Hey brother! I'm in the DFW area and I'm about to pull the trigger on the OME lift. Please keep me/us updated as to the pros and cons to this lift and the results you experience. I am looking for a modest lift that performs off and on road equally. Thanks

Will do. I did a lot of research. A LOT of it on here, a lot of questions answered by he Toytec guys, and this is what I decided to go with. Wanted to maintain a good ride on road but better performance off road. My main off road is running on the 4x4 only section of north padre island, no rock crawling, but it gets pretty rough at times.
    Install on Tuesday:kona:

Thank OZ... Toytec marked the one with the trim packer "Drivers Side". I had Toytec assemble them cause I was thinking about insalling myself, but I have the money and not really the time right now. Got a great deal from a local lift shop in town. Now to figure out which rims and tires to go with.

BTW I've read a whold lot of your posts that helped me make a decision to go with OME coils and shocks (and no top plate).

I think you made a pretty good choice there. If you ordered the Dakars I think I would wait to install them instead of the AAL. Make sure you get 4 bushings for the Dakars from Toyota.

Will do. I debated that too, but just went with the Toytec AAL cause I have AirLift air springs for the back. Bought them when the truck was new because of bottoming out on the crappy springs. I got the TSB, but still use the air springs. I will air those up when I want to put a load on.

Need to pull the air springs this weekend. Preparing for install on TUESDAY!!

How much weight can those springs hold? My revtek AAL are pretty worn. I'm even scared to but anything back there. Going hunting in a couple weeks and really need those dakars lol

I have the Ride Control set that bolt in and you don't have to remove or cut the bump stops. I think they are rated at 2,000 lbs. I go camping with a lot of gear and they work great. I think they were close to $300 for the set though.

So do you love it? Would have done something different?
What size tires are you running with it?

Really? Where did you get them? Got any pics?
I ordered the Dakars earlier this week. Would've done it sooner but wasn't thrilled about paying $526 just for shipping. So I looked around and found out I can just ship them thru my company for $80 from Tacoma wa to up here. But they are on back order till aug 22... And I go hunting the 29th ish..

Here's a link to airlift and here's a pic I took before taking them off the have the rear spring TSB done. I ordered them online from autoanything (I think, its been a while). There are a lot of online vendors that have them.

It took me about 4 months to decide on which lift to go with....now to make up my mind on which tires and rims.
Only drove home from the lift shop and to work this morning, but love it so far!

I also have the same suspension set up and I love it. I have the 2011 TX, so I like the wheels that I have, but I did switch over to 265/75/16 and I think they look just fine. I don't really have the urge to fill the entire wheel well with tire.
