    Hi!

New guy here. We're on our 3rd Rav4, but I'm looking to replace my current vehicle with a Double cab Taco.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the best place to find out what year made what options available? What does TRD include etc?

    Thank You

Welcome bud. You will find tons of info here on this site. There is a trd offroad model that has a rear electronic locking differential and off road suspension. The trd sport has color keyed handles and mirror covers with a hood scoop and more of a sport tuned suspension.

Either come in PreRunner or 4wd, and someone correct me if I'm wrong but all trd models come with the SR5 package.

    .
Ditto, it depends on what you want to do with the truck, the only big difference between the two models is the locking diff, the sports are the most common and the easiest to find and will do a pretty good job in most all situations. 08+ has stuff like backup camera, downhill assist and the radios have more features.

    OK, let's try this:

It'll be a while (if at all) till I look at aftermarket wheels, so I'd like them to be alloy, not steel.
    Definitely prefer color match
Sport tuned suspension will be a plus, this truck will see pavement 90% of the time.
This truck WILL see snow, so LSD would be great.

This is steering me towards TRD right? Or is SR5 what gets you the color matched bumpers/mirrors?

    Bluetooth?
Aux input / iPod control options?

Are all the seats cloth or are some of them made of something more "repellent" - the pictures look very different, some almost look like a wetsuit material.

Were heated seats ever an option?

TRD Sport has the color matched stuff, with the rest I think you're looking at a 09-10+ model year, IDK about the seats, I have an 07

That would fit right in with what Toyota currently lists on their site for TRD w/ extra options.

So 09 is when they started with that configuration you think?
