Have you listened/decoded a Bacarri Rambo interview, can't imagine his written skills are much better. Again, EVERY school has them, and every one on this forum wants them to make that hit, for the teams we/they cheer for, and not against.

Sure we all want the big hit

    BUT

Looking at the video...it seems that he could've aimed a bit lower than launching helmet to helmet

This. You can't deny there was helmet to helmet. And you can't deny that's completely against the rules. Anything above the shoulders is gonna draw a penalty, and now they're drawing suspensions. This wasn't the first one.

I'm not arguing that point to some degree, but, at the same time, that's why he was recruited.
So come Saturday, you want your' (Clemson) D-backs to have to think about the consequences of making a play, and not the FSU recievers catching a pass over the middle?

No...I want them to play a clean game and not break the rules in an effort to make highlight films

Swearinger could've hit that dude in his midsection and still destroy him and knock the ball loose...instead he launched up and went helmet to helmet

I'm all for big hits and big plays...but I'm also all for these kids being able to continue playing as long as they want

Helmet to helmet contact is dangerous and unnecessary...it could've very easily ended up with the UAB player in a similar situation as the Tulane player who broke his neck/spine a week or 2 ago

You are still kinda side stepping my point/question.

Edit: I went back and watched it few times (link in post), as yes it does seem he launched and and lead with his hat. Totally different than from what I'd seen earlier, way different camera angle. 100% agree, now.

    Head unit. That's it.
To be fair, that was a really weak call. You see touchdown celebrations that are show boating or flamboyant and do nothing for the game to this day.

If you get beat by a punter, running...shame on you. Only way that should happen is if Usain Bolt is the punter.
