I used to work for Hitachi years ago. The company also builds trains (locomotives, cars, tracks, switches, etc), power plants (nuclear, hydroelectric, etc), power tools, construction equipment (cranes, bulldozers, etc), automobile parts, consumer electronics (tv's, camcorders, refrigerators, washing machines, etc), and will even give you a home loan (in the Asian marketplace). In other words, the company is into a whole lot of stuff.
