    only reason i have a matching one is because i did a little extra work for a friend who had an extra and tossed it my way.

    it does seem to be a bigger priority for the guys with exposed spares up on racks though

    yeah, but that kindof reinforces the matching spare though......if it's not going to be used, it might as well look good. at least that's how i'd assume most people see it.

    On the other side of the spectrum, I actually carry two spare when i wheel though, and this guy is always right behind me when we wheel together, so hi's will get used for sure if he keeps it up.

    the problem is that if you just use a regular tab and bolt, the jack doesn't sit right, and likes to wiggle loose and bend the tab. i could build in a nice mount for it, but it'd be similar in price to the aluminum ones i linked to. advantage to the aluminum ones is that they are movable/removable, whereas mine would be welded on.

    i just don't like building stuff i know doesn't work well......
