    Hey everyone,

Been lurking around on the boards for a few weeks, lots of great info on this site.

Figured I'd create an account since I just put a deposit down for a:

    2013 TRD Sport MGM
    DCLB
    4x4
    Auto
    Tow pkg

    30,500 for the truck
    10,300 for my trade
~1600 for taxes (8% sales tax)
~270 for the registration, title and doc fee

Sounds like a good deal? They didn't have it on the lot so I have to wait for about 2 weeks.

    None yet. Thinking small lift.

OTD. Was happy with price. Disappointed no Sat radio, but it is on the way. Floor mats came in Monday, so that was good.

i think the main thing was the standard touch screen non-entune radio, and also they added a limited package, and took away the "sport upgrade package" not the sport package

I too have been lurking around on this site for a couple weeks while figuring out what I want from my tacoma. I'm looking at a 2013 DCSB 4x4 TRD O/R v6 auto with the tow package and all weather floor mats.
    Sticker is 33,543
    down to 30,972
trade my car 3500 (2002 Accord with 150k)
    +1650 tax
    +69 Tag fee
    -1000 college grad
    $28,191 out the door

They are giving me crap about the college grad thing though because my mom (who is cosigning with me) isnt working yet so it may be 29,191 OTD.

Thoughts? I'm not convinced its a great deal.
    Thanks!

i agree, i don't think it's a great deal either, imo, it looks like the truck is costing around almost 33K and do you think your trade is worth more than 3500? check other dealers, before your college rebate, i would think 32K is a very competitive price, and you've seen others on this thread get under 32K otd

just wanted to confirm, it doesn't have entune right? if it does, then it's a great deal

    Oh, OK.

looks like a $2500 discount. you can probably get that other grand w/o the college rebate. I doubt you'll get much more for your trade.

maybe try for the grand...they come back with 500...and you try for another 500 on your trade.

Sorry I've been staring at all these numbers for weeks and have explained it to so many people I forgot to explain it here lol. But thanks for the advice I was kinda thinking that I would go for the 1k off and play the different dealerships in the area against each other if they won't go for it.

you can buy the truck you want for 30K (plus tax and tag...less any trade equity).

I can't speak to the trade vehicle...but you can do better than a $1,662.00 discount off the MSRP. Another grand for sure.

btw, with 19K for trade on a vehicle owed 16.9K...how does that = 3K down? looks like 21 hundred to me?
