    Thats what I figured I don't wanna pop the pin off my tool since then other cars might use that pin, I'll just get a extension and pop the pins off it, plus mine is wireless and I'm afraid I'll break it off with my leg it hangs down so low when plugged in :cool:

    I used steel wool on the whole thing, washed it, sanded the whole thing with 80 grain sandpaper. Washed it again, used metal self etching primer (2coats) let it sit a day or 2. Then used rustoleum flat black. 1 coat of rustoleum bedliner spray. Then 2 coats of rustoleum gloss enamel. Then 1 coat of clearcoat. Alooot of paint lol but it looks great

    I like the sounds of this. I'm guessing you can get a 12v plug with pigtails on it pretty much anywhere? Then it's just a direct connection to the battery with an inline fuse?

    Sounds about right. A lot of times the 12v outlet doesn't have any wires coming out of it though. You just add it to the terminals on the outlet yourself. And yeah run an inline fuse to it as well. The plugs normally have their own fuse built into it though. But I'd always add one in as long as it's the same size as the one built into the plug or a tad larger.
