I'm on a budget and don't wish to buy new UCA. I was wondering if I were to set these shocks to 1.75 on my stock coils with my TSB in the back would I be able to run a 285/70/17 tires? Right now I'm stock with the TSB leafs in the back. Also will I have any issues with alignment.

When I measured the front and back just now I'm two inches higher in the back than the front. Here's a picture to show how it looks.

You'll need to cut & trim. You could run a 275/70/17 and maybe get away with trimming a little plastic. You could also try a 285/70/16 but you need to change your wheels.

Are you taking about the mud flaps? or the Plastic that they hold onto? I'm gonna take those off soon. Do you think I'll have issues with turning and stuff?

If you intend to run 285/70 on 17s you'll end up cutting more than plastic. You will need a cab mount chop and beat the pinch weld with a hammer. Plus you will tear up your fender flares.

OP , have you considered 275/70/17 , you should be able to run that with a 1.75" lift

Stupid question, if you just want to lift the front 1.75", what would the best method be? I'm interested in this also when I buy new tires.

Thanks for the info guys I'm just wanting to lift it a bit and put a little bit bigger tires without having to worry about new UCA and having alignment issues. I think I'll do the 5100s set at 1.75" with just my TSB leafs and the 275/70/17 tires

Okay so I'm thinking of getting the 5100's with the stock springs set at 1.75 and just leaving the TSB leafs for I think a total of 2" lift. Will this affect alignment or other suspension components? And also can I fit 285/70/17 tires with a 2" lift? If not I'll just stick with 275/70/17

If I get these shocks and set the front to 2.5" will I have to buy new UCA? or will I be okay with stock? Also on brake lines as well. Can I get buy with stock on a 3" lift?

I have a 2.5 lift in front with 5100's and nothing in the back, and 285/70/17 duratracs with -12 offset ballistic jester wheels. I had to do cab mount chop, a lot of plastic fender cutting, still have more to do because they rub at full lock reverse on the plastic lining. Just for reference.

Oh and also Will I need extended brake lines for a 2.5-3" lift? I'm thinking 2.5" up bilstein 5100s and 5100s in back with AAL.

Are you using Add a leafs in the back or TSB springs or stock? And where can I get those wheel spacers you have? Looks Solid, and thanks for the pic.

Anyone know what the lift is with tsb springs in the back? and what it would be with the AAL that toytec sells? I'm thinking about doing the 4in spindle lift what was wondering what I'll need to use in the rear to have it sit level, what I have to use tsb plus a block or tsb with aal plus block? any help would be great!

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Since oz isnt around right now i figured i would answer for him lol, see what i did there? A new leaf pack from OME would get you about level with 4 inches of lift in the front. There is other options also, but a new leaf pack can get you 2-4 inches of lift in the rear, probably more if you have a custom one made.
