We rented a 2008 model (6-wheezer from Enterprise) to go to North Dakota a couple years ago and I'm glad we did....

The girlfriend was all set on buying one and loved the looks until I rented one for her (her 2002 POS Taurus/torn-ass made me leery to send her that far in it as I had to wait a day to leave)....she drove it the whole way up and back (17hrs one way, woman driver). She bitched about gas mileage (not your concern), rear seat area (I didn't pay attention) and we both bitched about the door height in comparison to the seat heights (she's 5'4"....honestly and I'm 6'1").

The above being said, after growing up with and owning numerous Chrysler products ('78 Diplomat, '82 Aries/bitch magnet, '91 Spirit, '98 Stratus, and '03 Neon/work beater) I will never have my name on the title of one again due to quality control issues, mechanical/engineering fuck-ups-too many to list here,....let me put it to you this way: I have the most experience with Chrysler products and can generally service/repair/troubleshoot accurately but after owning a few other brands, as stated earlier, never again will I own one.

That being said, if you are apt to trading up/off every 2-3yrs. or so, you might have better luck than I have...

It's in the air...not set on it. I may just trade it up for the RW crewmax and buy an older Camaro or something...

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    He liked the Hemi :notsure:

I loved how the Camaro drove but could see shit. You cant drive that car if you're claustraphobic

Not me, too big and unrully and not as fast or refined as the other two.

    as do I.

but a 4-door Charger is no "sports car"

    Corvette
    Acura NSX
    Porsche 911
    Viper...
    are sports cars.

Mustang & Camaro are "pony cars"

    Mustang and Camaro...I agree.

and no disrespect to the OP or anyone else who owns/drives a Charger. but there is nothing sexy about a 4-door Dodge. IMO

not regulary, and never for hire :D although I'm qiute sure there are places in the world where both a Tacoma or a Charger are used as people haulers for cash.

    whereas...a Corvette, not so much.

see, some cars are sexy sports cars...and some are not. not to say a 4-door can't be a performance car...performance sedan I believe they are called. and some are quite awesome in their own right, but not "sexy" IMO.

I've had a handful of Vettes...but I'm kinda done w/ GM. And I can't afford a good example of a classic one, so...that's done as well. I'd really love a 911 but, again...not in my current budget.

my latest (and long standing) want in vehicles, is a classic Chevy Truck. Maybe a '65 or '66 short bed fleet side...maybe. I also like the '67-'72 GM body style. And I really don't want a perfect restored factory bla...bla...bla... I WANT A HOT ROD!!!

Heres my hot rod (well, one of em) .....guess it isnt a sports car, but id doea have over 630hp to the wheels.
