Retrofit Shroud Color Opinion

Hey guys,
Just wondering what you would do if you were me.
I just finished up a set of headlights a little while ago and painted the shrouds white to colormatch my truck.


BUT im going to do an FXR retrofit and wonder if i should color match it or black out everything.

Probably will look like this.


With black turn signals..

 

since you sw. I think the white shrouds is unique. but, if you plan to resell like before Id go black.

 

Think im keeping these ones.. so ill take your vote as white

I left them chrome, blacked out the bowls.

 

Im digging his whole front end................Even my GF said it was nice looking. Which allows me to spend more cash on my truck. I found a local left light tonight on craigslist with just the fender tab(not needed) broke from a 2010. Dude works at a dealership nearby.............can someone say hookup! he want 20 bux for it. Lens is mint he said.

as sexy as these are I still voted for white just because it's different.

The white looks good, shit the whole truck looks good. Don't care for them all blacked out, just doesn't work for me.

 

white's a little more unique IMO

 

I blacked out my entire retrofit. The white does pop more, but it all depends on what you want

 

yeah white attracts attention which i like

 

I like them both but the white is a little bit more flashy and you can't go wrong with blacking them out. It all depends on what look your going for.

 

Going for the whole "storm trooper" theme but want to serperate my truck from the million other stormtroopers

 

I'm going to go with white bezels and keep the headlight reflector bowl and shrouds chrome. Going to keep the same look I have now.

 

Color Matched bezels.. I like that

 

black with white gets my vote.

 

Looks nice as is.

Considered putting CCFL rings inside the shroud?
